Scallywags Preschool is ....

We are based in Northfleet, Kent and operate from 2 sites providing care and education for children aged between 2 to 5 years.  We are open term time only (38 weeks), Monday to Friday.  Scallywags 1 is situated within Northfleet Youth Centre, Hall Road and runs 5 morning sessions 9am - 12pm. Scallywags 2 is run from the Dene Holm Methodist Church in Dene Holm Road, Northfleet and operates 5 morning session from 9am -12pm and 4 afternoon sessions Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 12.45pm – 3.45pm

 

The fee per session is £30.00, payable whether the child attends or not (this is to maintain their place at the pre-school). Parents with children eligible for funding should note that the government provides funding for 38 weeks and parent can access up to 15 hours per week. Any fees payable are due at the start of the week, by either cash or online.  We are registered to accept the government funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

Scallywags was founded in 1988 within Northfleet Youth Centre, but expanded to two centres in 2004 after demand had grown for our high quality pre-school ethos. 

 

Our mission is and has always been, to provide the highest quality pre-school care and education whilst ensuring the children are safe, happy and enjoy their time at the pre-school.



All of our staff are trained to the highest standards and have attained, or in the process of attaining, a minimum of Level 2 NVQ in Preschool Childcare. All staff are fully DBS checked.



We encourage all our staff to be fully approachable, including myself, the Director, and are always happy to show visitors around our pre-schools, just give us a call to arrange a time or pop in.
